Affordable independent living for over 60's
Yass Apex Homes has forty units and one 2 bedroom cottage that can house up to 49 people, in comfortable affordable secure housing close to the centre of town. The units are for people with a connection to the Yass community that are in need and are 60 years or older and capable of independent living.

OUR HISTORY
Starting in 1964 when Miss Mary Frances Callaghan died, leaving her estate to the community to provide accommodation for aged persons. Yass APEX homes were the first in Yass to provide accommodation for the aged members in our community.
VILLAGE NEWS
In 2026, Yass Apex Homes was nominated for an Australia Day Award in the category of Community Group of the Year Award.

APEX VILLAGE GARDENS
Beautifully maintained gardens filled with an assortment of flowers and shrubs, regularly maintained by the residents. Throughout the Village we also have a number of vegetable plots filled with in season vegetables.
